This week’s fashionplate features our satin Janis shorts at the new vegan/ veggie spot ABC V.  I went here for brunch with a gf and we sat at the bar as it was already packed at noon.  We both started with delish matcha coladas.  We then decided to splitzies some eats.  We got the sambal and cheddar dosa and omg so delish.  We also go the gluten free almond pancakes which were great, the little beaker with maple syrup was adorbs  too.  The fingerling potatoes were great as well.  I added a cold brew because we all know I need my caffeine.  This spot was so yummy and it was a mix of girl gangs and couples and families.  I definitely will be back to try dinner.  See how I styled this fashionplate below.

Fashionplate-New Katy Blouse at Nix

fashionplate-nixThis week’s fashionplate keeps things light and healthy.  I love indulging in decadent meals as well as eating clean and healthy.  I’ve been wanting to check out the new vegetarian restaurant on University Place- Nix.  My dining companion got a ressie here around 7:30 and the place was packed for early in the week.  We opted for a nice red wine and started with a few of the dips with both the bread and veggies.  The eggplant was our favorite but the hummus and labneh were also amazing.  Then we moved on to the jicama salad and the roasted cucumbers, both which were amazing.  We obviously had to get the greatly touted fry bread and this was basically an orgasm in your mouth.  The tofu skin pockets were also great and similar to enchiladas.  The spinach and dandelion pie was also amazing.  We were stuffed but there are still more things I will definitely be back to try.  This might be my new favorite veggie resto.

The crowd was more gender balanced than most veggie places because Nix has delicious plant based foods that even meat eaters adore.  I rocked our new Katy leopard print blouse which matched perfectly with our booth as you can see.  See all the OOTD deets for this fashionplate below.
