Check out this week’s fashionplate featuring our black and white cross print Goldie bodysuit at Massoni at the Arlo Hotel Nomad. Met some girlfriends here on a Thursday evening for a wine, pizza and gossip catch up sess. We started at the bar with white wine and rose and then moved to a cozy banquette to eat. We started with the burrata which was creamy and yummy. We then split two pizzas- mushroom and the spicy sausage. We enjoyed both the mushroom pie was cheesy and creamy. The spicy sausage was pretty spicy and the ranch on the side helped to cool things down. It wasn’t crazy full for a Thursday evening but due to the nice weather a lot of people were probably at the new rooftop bar upstairs. See how I styled this fashionplate below.

This week’s fashionplate takes place at the new American/Mediterranean restaurant in the Park South Hotel. Had a ressie with a friend here and waited at the bar where the bartender whipped me up a cute pink tequila cocktail which was delish. When she arrived we were promptly seated and ordered some wine. We started with the charred broccolini which was delish and added something green and healthy to our pre-Friday night meal. We then split mandilli pasta which was amazing and stuffed with ricotta and had a tomato and pesto sauce, such comfort food. We also got the pepperoni and sopressata pizza which was also delish. We were very happy with our food, drinks and wine. The service was also vvv good.
Now on to the fashion part of this fashionplate. The place is fairly large and filled up quite quickly with reservations while I was waiting at the bar. A lot of couples, young trendy girl groups and a scattering of tourists. The dresscode ran the gamut from after work business casual to more eclectic. See how I styled this all black everything look below.

This week’s fashionplate is a much overdue dinnertime visit to Bowery hotspot- Vandal. I’ve been a bunch for drinks and the club but have been meaning to try the food. I finally got the chance to get there for dinner and it definitely lived up to the hype. I decided to rock our brand new F/W16 Ellie Henley bodysuit for the perfect dinner to drinks to dancing outfit. My dining companion and me were seated pretty promptly in this huge restaurant and club that formerly housed The General and Finale. I love the flowershop entrance and all the great street art. I tried the Sergeant Bell Pepper cocktail which had a great hint of spice and I also had the Lost & Found. We were starving and split a ton of things. The knish reuben was amazing who doesn’t like meat, cheese, potato and thousand island dressing in one neat little package? The hot pretzel tartare was surprisingly tasty and flavorful. The red snapper tostadas rounded out our small plates with a slightly more health conscious app. People love the johnnycakes but we thought they were just ok, would probably not get them again, not as special as the remainder of the items we ordered. The wild mushroom pizza was amazing, orgasm in my mouth, can eat this once a week good. We went with one main, the branzino which was also delish. We probably over ordered by one or two items but yolo. We rounded out the meal with something sweet the smores which you can see got me all kinds of googly eyed.
All in all a great meal, definitely an all night spot from drinks to dinner and then late night dancing. The crowd was mostly young working professionals and downtown scensters with some tourists thrown in. This is definitely a spot to take a fashion risk and try something new. See how I styled my bodysuit below for this fashionplate.
This week’s fashionplate features our new blush bodysuit from the S/S16 line at the new, larger location of Black Tap Burgers on 14th Street. One of the besties and me decided we wanted burgers yet again and thought trying out this larger location was the perfect thing. We went early on a weeknight so it wasn’t crowded at all. I definitely would even check out to watch a game. We started with some beers. My friend got the All American and I decided to try something different and got the Spicy Mexican. This is a chorzio burger and it was very good. They’re fries are always solid. I’ve yet to try a milkshake which is on the list next time at either location. See how I styled the bodysuit below for this fashionplate.
This week’s fashionplate features our gorg new Linda leather trimmed romper from the new Spring/Summer 2016 line at the new hot spot Black Barn in the old SD26 space. Clearly from my pictures you can tell they take their wine seriously too! My dining companion and I ordered some cocktails to start, I started with Pear necessity which was refreshing while my companion got a Jack and coke. We decided to split a few things for our dinner. The black mission fig pizza was delish and a great fall starter. We also ended up getting the cheese souffle which was phenomenal- decadent, rich and creamy. We ended up switching to a nice Malbec before our split entree. We got the strip loin medium rare which was decent but not my favorite. I wanted to try the branzino but I had just had it for dinner the night before so alas we went with steak. We also got a side of the fingerling potatoes which were pretty dope. We wanted to finish things on a sweet note and were not disappointed with our waiter’s recommendation of the chocolate caramel bar. It is reminiscent of Illili’s candy bar dessert- YUMMY!
The service was great. Now on to the fashion part of this fashionplate, there were a lot of suits on a Thursday night probably due to the proximity of Credit Suisse etc. So lots of business dinners and more locals in the bar area. See the complete OOTD deets below to see how I made our Linda romper fall approps with a cute little fishtail braid!
This week’s fashionplate features our eco-friendly and sustainable bamboo jersey dress in sky blue at Rosie’s a mexican spot off Bowery. I met a friend there for a early week catch up session and it was a warmer fall night perfect to still be rocking pastels. They have an adorable little tortilla station where they make all the tortillas and masa based things in house. We started off with some watermelon margaritas and then proceeded to split a bunch of things. We first started with the guac and the queso fundido, both of which were delish and yummy. We then got some more margs and scallop ceviche which was fresh but small. Then came out the remainder of the small plates. The fish tacos were solid but not a stand out. The quesadillas were yummy and filled with veggies. The memilitas were unique and spicy. The tlayuda oaxaquena was also very interesting. We basically loved everything we ordered and things were spicier than most mexican spots which is always a plus in my book.
The crowd was mostly neighborhood peeps and downtown hipsters. On a Monday night they were only half full, I will definitely be back to try out some different dishes. See how I styled our bamboo jersey dress for this fashionplate below.
Now that fashion week is over I can get back to fashionplates that feature some of the great new S/S16 line. One of the bestie’s decided to have her bday party at new interactive hotspot- Sushi Roxx recently so I decided it was a perfect reason to get dolled up and wear our new raw silk leather trim pencil skirt. It’s attached to the hotel and a fairly large space with servers who dance and sing throughout the night. On the night her birthday party was Mob Wives also happened to be filming which made for an entertaining dinner before a night out on the town.
Since it was a birthday party we had a prix fix menu that was served family style with some appetizers, sushi and chicken teriyaki. I decided to go with a decent bottle of cold sake. Some stand out dishes for me were the fried avocado, seriously delish with the dipping sauce. The peppers were also good. I’m not much of a roll person but I sampled a few pieces that were solid, the usual crunchy spice tuna, salmon etc… This isn’t on 15 East level but it gets the job done if you like rolls. The chicken and broccoli were solid. They let our friend bring her own cake and everyone had a fab time so all in all a fun dining experience with a large group. See how I styled our new pencil skirt for our fashionplate and all the OOTD deets below.
This week’s fashionplate is a much more indulgent meal then the last few. It was one of those cooler summer days so I opted for our Raquel maxi skirt and a decadent french meal at La Gamelle on Bowery. This spot reminds me of a more casual not as crowded Pastis/Chereche Midi. Had a very yummy Bordeaux. My dining companion and both started with french onion soup, so yummy and comforting in this weather. Check out the cheese on it. We then proceeded to split some oysters and the whole grilled branzino with ratatouille and a side of fries. The oysters were standard. The branzino was tasty although we had deboned and there were still some tiny bones it. The fries were addicting. We then decided to yolo and get 2 desserts. He has a serious sweet tooth. We ended up getting the creme brulee and a chocolate mousse cake both of which were very yummy. The crowd was very neighborhoody and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. See the fashion part of the fashionplate with ootd deets below.
One of my favorite weekend activities has to be a leisurely brunch with my girls, all the more better when it’s aycd. So I knew I had to get down to the East Village/Alphabet City asap for a fun girly catch up brunch at Pardon My French for a fashionplate. I was the first to arrive somehow and the waiters couldn’t be sweeter and sat me at a table anyway and made sure the bloodies kept coming which were delish. They also have a cute outdoor garden. I decided to wear our new Sophia cami and make it a little fun and daytime approbs. Some of the girls got mimosas instead of bloodies which they liked as well and my one friend got straight champagne since she’s allergic to citrus. I got the Croque Monsiuer and 2 of my friends got the croque madame which we all loved, so delish. A friend also got the baked eggs which she seemed to like and one friend got the eggs Benedict.
Now on to the fashion part of the fashionplate. The crowd was very downtown hipster save for one couple with a baby. Everyone was mostly well dressed, festival fashion or all black everything. The waiters were very french, sweet and attractive. Definitely a spot to check out. Check out the full OOTD deets below.
This week’s fashionplate is at avant garde Mexican spot Cosme in Flatiron. Even though it’s been open for months it’s still uber hard to get a reservation, you need to make one in advance unless you want to brave the bar when they first open. The blond wood bar is expansive and they have a huge tequila and mezacal selection which is pretty dope. I actually started with the expat martini which was good but I wanted to move on to margaritas after that. My friend and I decided to share a few of the small plates. We got the arctic char tostada which was yummy and perfectly flavorful. We also got the scallop ceviche which was my favorite, light and perfect. The enfrijolada was a more comforting dish that was also quite good. We then decided to get the steak tacos which were also good. Yes, the portions are small but we went there already knowing this. We ended with the chocolate ganache which was our least favorite part of the meal, it wasn’t bad just not as chocolatey as we like.
Now on to the fashion part of the fashionplate, the crowd was a mix of trendy couples on dates, young professionals expensing their meals and friends looking to enjoy Thursday night. Definitely dress to impress but keep it cool. See how I paired out new Katherine shirtdress below, the perfect day to night look to take you from work to dinner to Tribeca Film festival afterparties for the Adderall Diaries at American Cut.
This week’s fashionplate features our Patti leather t back top for the ootd at new Danny Meyer’s West Chelsea Southern inspired hot spot, Porchlight. Met up with some girlies on a Saturday night and it wasn’t as packed as expected, we sat at the large bar and proceeded to order cocktails. I just opted for bourbon, but one of my friends had champagne and another one had the Stay all night. We also sampled the house punch and the Sherry cobbler. The cocktails were all very good and the bartenders were attentive. We weren’t feeling the food menu so didn’t have a chance to try any of it but other people seemed to like it. They have a cute game room in the back with a bunch of boardgames which is cute. Will definitely be back for happy hour when it’s supposed to be super lively.
Now on the to the fashion part of the fashionplate. There were a lot of young professional types even though it was the weekend and couples and large groups playing games. The crowd skewed on the under 30/35 side and more casual attire.

This week’s fashionplate is the Santina, another amazing creation from the Carbone team. I think I need to marry one of them and I’ll never go hungry and always be happy. Lol jk not really. This cheerful and playful restaurant is located right underneath the Highline near Hector’s Cafe the spot of many Law & Order SVU episodes in Meatpacking. I loved the open window concept and the square bar. A friend and me had reservations for a while and were seated pretty promptly.
My friend started of with wine but I decided to start with a fun cocktail, the Mangeanelli Punch which was similar to a fun margarita. We were starving so then we proceeded to start with the chickpeas pancake with avocado which was super yummy and different. We then decided to to split the Rigatoni Norma and the steak with shallots. Yum we wanted more of the the delicious eggplant pasta dish that is one of my favorite dishes at any Italian spot, but especially here. The steak was also very good and cooked perfectly medium rare. I decided to get a glass of champagne at the end of the meal as we perused the dessert menu and settled on the lime mergina which was light and the perfect end to the meal.
Now on to the fashion part of the fashionplate. There are a lot of fashionistas, artsy cool downtown types, the cooler hedge fund set, some couples and groups of tourists visiting who were lucky enough to score a ressie at a new hotspot. Since we visited during fashion week, I decided to rock our Stevie eggplant cami with a leather t back and straps and layer it up. You can see the full ootd deets below.
Another Italian resto for this weeks fashionplate. This cold weather just begs for comfort food. Mulino a Vino is a newish hidden gem in the Meatpacking district. Head down the unassuming staircase on 14th Street between eighth and ninth avenues and you are transported to a chic open kitchen wine bar away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I wanted to rock our leather t-back Patti tank but obviously winterized it as it’s beyond freezing out these past few weeks. Can spring get here any sooner. We ended up sitting at the bar as we wanted to see the chefs preparing the food and ask for wine recommendations. I had a great full bodied red recommended that I ended up having 3 glasses of, I don’t recall the name and my dining companion had a Chianti he enjoyed. We were then told the best way to go was splitting 4-5 small plates between us, I love getting to try a little bit of everything so this was cool for me. We got the San Daniele’s Miracle which was basically little foccacia buns stuffed with prosciutto, burrata and tomatoes which was very good but not a standout dish. Then came out the Bombolone a la Norma which was an amazing pasta donut with eggplant and cheese so good. We also got the polpo alla luciana which was also beyond amazing octopus dish. The goncchi sorrentina was super cheesy with an outstanding sauce. Our last dish was veal filet which was more of veal chop and was solid but not one of our top 3 dishes.
We were too stuffed for dessert but definitely recommend this place for a date or catch up dinner with your friends. The crowd varies from young couples to older couples and groups of people looking for an unpretentious dinner and wine before heading out to one of the meatpacking clubs or lounges. See the full fashionplate ootd deets below.

The third birthday related Fashionplate is at new mega Venice styled resto Florian’s that 2 of my besties took me to for yet another bday celebration. It’s a large space in Gramercy and was not crowded on a Friday night so we were seated right away and drinking wine, champers and cocktails from the get go. The sculptures, while not my taste added to the Venetian charm of the place. We decided to start with the Burrata with Prosciutto di Parma which was very good. One of my friends and me decided to split the Veal Chop Parmigiana that was enormous, you can see only my half in front of me. It was very good and covered in lots of cheese. Our other friend had the short ribs and sausage which she also enjoyed. We were super full and declined dessert as we had lots of partying to do afterwards, I mean it’s Friday night birthday weekend.
Since this spot wasn’t uber crowded, it was honestly hard to gauge the crowd, but mostly couples, and groups of friends who seem to live in the area. Most people were dressed casually. But all black everything works in any occasion in my book. I couldn’t wait until February to debut my black sheer chiffon blouse, it’s honestly too gorg and might replace the Bianca as my go to everyday piece. See the complete Fashionplate OOTD deets below.

This week’s Fashionplate is another birthday edition, yes I have amazing friends and family. Thanks my loves. I’ve always loved Park Avenue Winter (Spring/Summer/Autumn) when it was located on the Upper East Side, so when it closed and reopened in the old General Assembly space, I knew it was another hot spot in the making. One of my besties and me went there on a weekday evening and were seated immediately with our res. It looked gorgeous with all white everything contrasting with the sumptuous red banquettes. White lace and pearls were overlaying and all the staff had cute aprons on that said Winter.
I started with the Road to Jericho cocktail that was gorg and had fig molasses in it and came in Copper mule mug. We then proceeded to split the Steak Tartare Rossini and Winter Tarte Flambée For Two to start. The steak tartare came on two toasts and had a foie gras and truffle garnish and was tasty although I wish they gave more tartare. I can eat it by itself without the bread. The tarte flambee was also delish and featured lardons, cheese and Brussels sprouts with all sorts of accruments and was yummy but very large we couldn’t finish it all if we wanted our entree. After that we switched to wine, I got a nice red. We ended up doing splitsies again, see how I get what I want when it’s my birthday? Lol. We split the Halibut with black truffles and a brioched egg that was buttery soft and delish. Yes I like truffles on everything! I was curious about the Chateaubriand but had dinner the next day at STK and didn’t want to overdo the red meat. We also decided to get the side of potato latkes that were beyond crunchy and addicting.
Now on to the fashion part of the Fashionplate. The crowd was different then when it was located on the UES, there were still older couples just not as many. There happened to be a lot of big groups of Finance types, having holiday team dinners probably due to proximity to Credit Suisse and the like. So think lots of suits and shift dresses. I was a little out of place in my Boho inspired outfit but hey it was my bday week/month so yolo.

The first of 4 birthday related fashionplates is our timeless Bianca top at the new steakhouse Bowery Meat Company. One of the besties took me here for my bday and we waited at the marble bar having some bday champs- Veuve, while waiting for our table to become ready. We decided to dive right in and split a bunch of items. The broiled oysters were almost as dope as Dirty French and we were thankful we were not on a romantic date as we were loving the extra garlic. The foie gras was creamy and decadent but not as heavy as usual which was a nice pleasant surprise!
We then opted for a nice red wine to complement the red meat that was coming. We split the Bowery Steak medium rare which was perfectly cooked and delish, we also split the sour cream hash browns which was amazing. We were super full but the lovely couple next to us ordered the pb&j bread pudding that was crazy big and filling. It was yummy and a great way to end our bestie bday meal.
The crowd had lots of young downtown hipsters, as well as older couples who looked fab for their age. Everyone was fun, and well dressed and coiffed. I only hope I can look that fab in 20 years. For the complete OOTD fashionplate deets check out below.

This Fashionplate is at the perfect ski chalet, winter inspired restaurant called Snob located in the Hotel Americano rooftop. On a particularly cold NY night a friend and me cabbed it the short distance to this West Chelsea spot. We were promptly seated in spacious booth with a fabulous view of the NYC skyline. We ordered a Malbec and the fondue to start with. The wine was great and the fondue was delicious, only thing it wasn’t a large enough portion with all the bread they gave us so we proceeded to then order more wine and the Oaxaca crepe that was filled with mushrooms, cheese and chorizo and was pretty tasty. We enjoyed a nice leisurely catch up dinner on a rare night where the city wasn’t crowded. There was a DJ spinning a fun mix of music and the patrons varied from hotel guests to galleriastas. I decided to winterize our Donna ribbon trim tank for this Fashionplate by pairing with leather and plaid. See the full OOTD deets below.
Check out how we style the brand new Nancy Bubble Dress in a lux black silk, also available in pink for our most recent outfit of the day. For a recent night out the Days and Nights movie premiere after party at Neuehouse and then the after after party at Le Bain I choose to wear our Nancy bubble dress but make it a little more funky and downtown. See all the OOTD deets below.
I created Tasch because I couldn’t always find the perfect tops and tees that fit into all aspects of life. I only create things that I want to wear. I love haute couture but it’s not easy to wear in everyday life. I wanted to create pieces that every women can feel beautiful and confident wearing. I’m all about casual luxury and mixing and matching different designers and pieces.
I also believe in bringing back business to the US, specifically New York, which is why everything is designed, sourced and produced right here in NYC. When I did my first small production run in the beginning of the year when I launched my company I worked with a factory right here in the garment district to produce my first 6 pieces. I’m so excited to be able to continue to grow in my community and debut my first full line!
The Spring/Summer 2015 Tasch line was inspired by my summers and trips in general to Montauk, the Hamptons, Nantucket, St Barth, St Tropez, and Monaco. I’m inspired by the whole easy, casual luxury. It’s truly contemporary sportswear. Some of my favorite designers are Alexander McQueen, Tom Ford, and Chanel. I also love contemporary designers such as rag&bone, Haute Hippie, ALC and Naven among others.
Now for the naming process… I also decided to name all my garments after great rock & roll /punk/folk chicks of the 60’s/70’s. The Pretenders, The Runaways, Fleetwood Mac, Jefferson Airplane… From Stevie Nicks to Grace Slicks to Chrissie Hynde to Janis Joplin these women were pioneers and truly helped shape the music industry and looked great doing it. They all had their own style and vibe which I love. They all have nailed that effortless cool look that makes Tasch-Tasch so naming my pieces after them was a no brainer. They embody that casual luxury look that we’re all about.
Hope you enjoyed getting a little behind the scenes look about the process and thought and inspo behind the line. Have a great weekend!
