The latest fashionplate features our Riri cropped sweater at my birthday brunch at the Loyal! I had a bday dinner with the boo at Raoul’s and another girls bday dinner at Dos Caminos. But had to get in a fashion plate for the girls bday brunch and check out someplace new. It was fairly crowded for a late Saturday brunch before Christmas and we decided to to get cocktails and raw bar to start. Cocktails were cute and served adorably and were most importantly delish. We got oysters and lobster cocktails both which were great. I split the burger with one of my girlies and it was so yummy. The duck fat tots it came with were unreal. Since it was my bday the gay bestie insisted we get the Sundae set and candy shop and do yourself a favor if you’re with a group get this dessert even if it’s just for the gram or polaroid. I ended up switching from specialty cocktails to a martini at a certain point during brunch because it was my bday and I wanted to get turnt. Shout out to our lovely server Iris, she’s the bomb. If I die bury me inside the Louis store. Or inside Genuine Superette. Joking, kind of. I was mad hungry when I met a gf here for this week’s fashionplate. I nursed a glass of red wine while waiting for her and then I was finally able to order! I got the Spicy Smokehouse burger special that came with fries and a Tecante. Pretty good deal. The burger was delish and the fries were crispy and getting a practically free beer thrown in is never a bad thing. I also tried the emerald city cocktail, I love places that combine green juice and liquor. I definitely will be back. Afterwards we checked out Genuine Liquorette that is in the back and you kind of make your own cocktails, so fun. I was dressed cas for this girls night and rocked our Jacqueline striped kimono , see how I styled this fashionplate below.
Being a huge burger lover, my bestie and me had to check out the new location of JG Melon in the West Village for a fashionplate. The decor is a spot on newer and cleaner replica of the original upper east side location and a lot less crowded. I decided to rock our new mint green bamboo tee shirt. I had a glass or red and my bestie got a beer. I started with a cup of chili which was delish and perfect after a long chilly day. We then each got our bacon cheddar burgers medium rare which were yummy and split our cottage fries. This location has a lot more young downtown types.
