Happy Mean Girls 10th Anniversary, still one of my favorite movies 10 years later! Definitely will be rewatching it for the 110th time later tonight. Obviously it’s a big inspo for me, celebrate today by purchasing our You Can’t Sit with Us graphic tee and check out other ways to celebrate in this fun post from Styleite
Had so much fun a warm April Day this past weekend. All the girls enjoyed the warm weather and wearing their Tasch tee shirts and I joined them in the Bianca tank for this impromptu photoshoot in the East Village. The graffiti, sunny skies, some yummy food and drinks at Bob White’s, and the local color made the perfect back drop for some work mixed with play in the East Village. Katie, Leila, Wendy and the awesome bartender at Niagara loved wearing the great tees while stomping all over the EV. I love seeing my shirts on an array of different girls and this time everyone styled themselves which was super fun. I also may or may not get my own Ducati. Send in pictures of yourself wearing Tasch, we always love seeing all the different ways our girls style their tops!
So excited to slowly being able to make more than just tops. I am kind of a tomboy downtown type of girl when it comes to my style but I also love all things super girly even if it’s not in my everyday style rotation. I love the simplicity and elegance of a beaded miniskirt. I found this gorg netted black with pink floral beading fabric at one of my favorite jobbers right here in the garment district, I fell in love with the fabric on the spot and knew I was meant to design a fab miniskirt. Due to the delicate nature of the the material all sewing including the lining and the hidden side zipper need to be handsewn which makes this skirt a little more labor intensive then the average item as the material is to delicate to pull through a sewing machine.
Anyway I was so excited to wear this skirt for a fun girly night of dinner and the Snow White ballet at Lincoln Center and then drinks downtown before picking out a book to read before falling asleep. I paired it with a simple black tee and black Brian Atwood pumps and an oversized J Crew blazer for a great late day to night look. These couture miniskirts are available on special order by emailing email@example.com for pricing and sizing.
Even though today felt a little bit like winter, I’m still feeling ethereal prints and fabrics that feel super luxe and fem! I’m loving crazy sumptuous beaded and lace fabrics as well as bold and stand out tribal and ikat prints. Loved spending the day fabric sourcing and checking out brand new cool fabrics. I’m totally looking forward to creating some dope new pieces that are not tops so look out for lots of new items that will be available for special order in the next few weeks. Also feel free to let us know what some of your new favorite trends are.
Factory Friday! So excited that production is underway for our shirts. All our items are made here right in the heart of the garment district in NYC. Here at Tasch we not only design everything locally we also source our fabric, buy our fabric locally and produce our garments right here in NYC. We believe in being an integral part of the local community and creating new jobs starting here.
Hope you love the fact that all our garments are made right here in NYC as much as we do!
First OOTD post here at Tasch! For a busy day of visiting boutiques and trend shopping, I styled the striped tank layer of the Debbie twofer with some great pieces already in my closet and style rotation. I love that I can wear this tank as a twofer or each separately. It makes for endless possibilities.
OOTD deets by designer/brand as follows:
black leather vintage jacket from Germany
yellow Juicy Couture cardi with pockets and gold buttons
black latex/leather look American Apparel leggings
black Burberry Eskdale bootie with ponyhair and gold stud detail
purple Kooba bag from a sample sale in 2009
Clearly I was digging the black and leather today. Send us your pix of how you style your fav Tasch pieces!
We are so excited that our hard copy lookbooks are all finished. We kept it short and sweet just like our designs. Boutiques, bloggers, and press please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org to be mailed a hard copy of our lookbook, linesheets, and full Welcome packet!
Yes, we do love all things pink here at Tasch, and decided to bind our lookbooks with a hot pink ribbon, it seems much chicer than ugly plastic or wire binding, non?
